What is the SAP Business Network (SAPBN)
Corteva Agriscience is moving to the SAP Business Network (previously known as the Ariba Network) to transact and collaborate with suppliers that support our Crop Protection Business Unit.
The SAP Business Network provides a single procure-to-pay platform that will facilitate both:
(1) The capability to send invoices through the SAP Business Network is only enabled for certain countries.
(2) When invoices are processed by Corteva, invoice status updates (e.g. confirmation that the invoice has been processed, payment confirmation) are sent through the SAPBN, regardless of if the invoice was submitted through the SAPBN or other transmission methods.
(3) SAPBN offers a robust platform for managing supplier information efficiently and securely.
It includes the capability for suppliers to initiate requests to modify their records, such as bank account details, email addresses, and other contact information.
SAPBN implementation plan and supplier resources for help
The implementation of the SAP Business Network in support of our Crop Protection Business Unit has been completed in North America, EMEA and LATAM. Ariba has created a Corteva-specific supplier portal to provide additional information and resources, including who to contact for support.
The implementation of the SAP Business Network in support of our Crop Protection Business in APAC is targeted to ‘go-live’ during 2025. In preparation for this ‘go-live’ supplier communications are being issued by Corteva (supplier_enablement_apac@corteva.com) and/or SAP Ariba. If you have any question on those, please contact us at supplier_enablement_apac@corteva.com
