Support for Critical Industries During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear Valued Suppliers and Manufacturers,

Corteva Agriscience is a global pure-play agriculture company that provides farmers around the world with seed, crop protection and digital solutions that enable them to produce the world’s food supply.

In countries around the world, the agriculture industry has been deemed a critical industry to maintain during the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, we continue to operate our business, in most instances with a strong remote working contingent. At production facilities, R&D sites and sales locations, we continue to operate, as necessary, with limited, “essential” employees.

Your company is recognized as a vital supplier to Corteva Agriscience, and thereby plays an important role in helping to maintain the global food supply.

As we continue to operate, our priorities are the personal health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers such as you, as well as our ability to safely and effectively serve our customers.

Here is what we are doing during this unprecedented time:

Customers:

  • We have dedicated staff in sales and customer service who are continuing to provide sales and service support. Order fulfillment continues uninterrupted.
  • Corteva sites are open to essential personnel to conduct business. At many of our sites, we’re fully enabling employees with tools to work from home.
  • Our local sales and agronomy teams remain ready to assist farmers. To protect their safety, we are asking those with direct customer contact to follow CDC guidelines about social distancing to help prevent or slow the spread of coronavirus.
  • We have suspended visitors to all U.S. sites unless a special exemption and proper safety procedures are in place.
  • We’re using virtual solutions to connect with customers where possible.

Production and Supply Chain:

  • Our seed production and manufacturing plants continue to operate at full capacity.
  • Our Crop Protection Supply Chain and Procurement teams are tracking and monitoring the status of our raw material suppliers, production facilities and logistics movements for all products in the countries impacted by COVID-19.
  • Our facilities have implemented guidelines for shipping and receiving that reduce the risk of exposure to the coronavirus. These include requiring drivers to remain in vehicles during deliveries and allowing electronic signing of deliveries, photographing delivery tickets and using other electronic measures to eliminate handling documentation.
  • Additionally, we have implemented everyday prevention measures like frequent hand washing, staying home when sick, covering coughs and sneezes, and greeting or thanking each other verbally instead of with a handshake.

Please let us know if you are experiencing production or distribution challenges that could impact the supply chain. And please keep a close eye on our supplier center for updates.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we will continue to ensure people around the world have enough healthy, safe food to eat.

Be well. We will be in touch again soon.

Regards,

Craig Reed
